On Friday, March 26th the competitive athletes headed up North to Sudbury to compete in the Central-North Region Competition.  It was great to see so many families along to take in the sights of Sudbury and cheer on our athletes.

Saturday morning we headed into the pool for the figures competition.  It was a great meet for our swimmers, with many of the girls doing the best figures that we have seen this season.   In the 10 and Under category Megan placed 7th.   In the 11-12 category Carolina placed 14th, Jenny 17th, and Michelle 22nd.  In the 13-year-old category Bella placed 6th.  In the 14-year-old category Catalina placed 2nd, Sarah was 14th and Claire was 17th.   In the 15-year-old category Vered placed 2nd, Caity 3rd, and Maegan 7th.   In the 16-20 category Constanza placed 6th, Sarah 13th and Delaynie 18th.  Daniella also participated in the figures competition, by pre-swimming for all of the age groups that were 13 and over- 13 swims in all.  Great job everyone on your fantastic figures!

Sunday morning we were back at the pool for routines.  The Masters duet, Heather and Michelle kicked off the morning with a gold medal finish, this was followed by our Combo team, another gold medal!  Right after this Bella and Sarah changed quickly and joined the rest of the 11-12 team for their best run through yet and a bronze medal.  Our 13-15 team wrapped up the team events , even with a little bit of a music problem they still placed first, another gold medal!
