Synchronized swimming is a unique sport that involves strength, endurance, flexibility and teamwork.
The Synchro Stars originated in the Markham Synchro Club in 2006. The Markham Synchro Club, founded in the 1970's is recognized as one of the top synchronized swimming clubs in Ontario. Our quality Recreational and Competitive programs are delivered by a highly qualified and professional coaching staff. The club is home of the 2005-2006 provincial champions.
Synchro Stars is a private, non-profit, swim program serving children ages 3-20 in the Markham, Richmond Hill, Stouffville, Vaughan and North York area. The focus of the program is to promote long term youth sport participation and promote healthy development in youth.
Our programs include:
- Synchro Stars recreational programs: 1hr per week for nine weeks each.
- Mini Synchro program: Year round introduction to the competitive level for swimmers under 8 years of age.
- Competitive: Year round programs with practice schedules that vary based on level from 6 to 14 hours per week.

Mission:
The Synchro Star Swim Club is a group that allows young Canadians an opportunity to participate in the sport of Synchronized Swimming. The sport is a combination of athletics, dance, teamwork and poise. The sport can be fully participated by the physically and cognitively challenged.
Objectives:
- To increase participation in youth sports and recreation programs.
- To increase participation in the recreational Synchronized Swimming to both physically and cognitively challenged youth.
- To align our programs with the Government vision of Long Term Development of the youth.
Organization: Synchro Stars is a non-profit corporation run by an elected executive by the members of the organization. The organization (club) are the parents or guardians of the children in the club. The executive positions are President, Treasurer, Secretary, Registrar and Head Coach.
