Our athletes recently travelled to Ottawa, ON to compete in the Ontario Tier Championship Meet.  We had amazing results in every event that we entered.

Even though we are comparatively a small club we placed 6th overall in Ontario and were the top team in Toronto and York Region, this is an amazing feat!

Our Tier 1 team had great figures results and as a team placed 3rd overall in the figures portion.  On Sunday they had an amazing run through and placed 5th overall!!  Two of the swimmers on this team were brand-new to synchro this year and only 1 swimmer had experienced the pressure of swimming in a final event before- way to go girls!  A special mention should go out to Carolina, one of our mini synchro swimmers who attended the meet with us and pre-swam two figures.

Our Tier 5 and 6 swimmers once again dominated in figures, in Tier 5 Daniella and Liz placed first and second respectively and easy were seated in first place going into duet finals.  In Tier 6 Sara placed 2nd and Nicole placed 6th.  The team overall was first in figures!  Both the duet and the team had fabulous final swims!  The duet placed first in Ontario, they are officially undefeated all season and the team placed 2nd with their best run through of the year!

In the Tier 8 event Melanie was first in figures and second overall in her solo with an incredible swim- Michael Jackson would be proud!

In the Tier 9 event Kristin continued to dominate, placing first in both figures and solo.  Next year Kristin is off to the University of Waterloo, we wish her the best of luck and we will certainly miss her!

It has been a super successful season and we are so proud of each and every one of our athletes!
