Information to be updated We offer many programs to suit different ages and skill levels. There are three main types of programs: Synchro Stars Recreational Program Mini-Synchro Pre-Competitive Program Competitive Program (Provincial Level)
Synchro Stars recreational program: The Synchro Stars program is intended to give participants an introduction to the sport of synchronized swimming. We have combined some of the essential skills with Synchro Ontario's Trillium Program Our classes run for one hour, once a week, for nine weeks. Each lesson your daughter can expect to participate in stretching, warm-up, review and practice, learning new skills, routine development, and a variety of games and activities We have developed the Synchro Stars program with the LTAD (Long Term Athlete Development) model in mind. The program addresses each of the 5 Basic S's of Training and Performance: Strenght, Stamina, Suppleness, Speed and Skill. In addition we havve added a 6th S: Social, as teamwork is so key in synchronized swimming. Swimmers in our recreational program work through Synchro Ontario's Trillium and Pansy Forbes Awards program. They will learn a variety of synchro basics and work on a short routine. On the last day of classes swimmers will be tested and will perform their routine for the parents. At the end of each session there is a test date. Successful swimmers receive a pin and certificate for each level. The registration fee covers the cost of one test for the session. Your daughter will also receive a report card from her coach with the skills that have been learned throughout the session, feedback, and suggestions for the next steps. Tuesdays
