On May 1st our Novice and Mini Synchro teams attended the Synchro Ontario Novice Routine Meet in Orangeville, Ontario.  It was quite an adventure as it was everyone's (even the coaches) first time attending this meet.  For our mini and novice swimmers it was the first opportunity for them to participate in a routine meet.  The girls swam very well and everyone enjoyed their first taste of competition. 

The mini synchro team placed 5th in the 8 and Under category, the novice team placed 3rd in the 11-12 team event, and Briar and Hannah teamed up to place 3rd in the 11-12 duet event.  
 
On May 2nd we were back at the pool for the Variety Village Invitational Routine Meet.  This was great practice for our competitive swimmers as they prepare for the upcoming Ontario Age Group Championship Meet at the end of May.  All of our routines swam well and we can tell that they are focused and moving in the right direction for the Championships, all of our routines were on the podium!  Our 11-12 team received a bronze medal, and both Daniella and the 13-15 team received gold medals.   
 
Congratulations to all, we are so proud of you and how far you have come this season, we can't wait to see you at Championships and the Watershow!
